About Me, I have always been an animal lover, I have rescued, fostered and adopted all kinds of dogs, old, young, sick, abandoned. I would bring them home, fix them up, worm them, vaccinate, groom them along with house- breaking and teaching or reteaching proper house manners. I have had several other types of animals and will again soon, but the poodles are the only breed we have and the only animal in the house now as I can't risk bringing in diseases, parasites and illness' to my moms and puppies.
I truly enjoy having, loving and raising my puppies and adults. They add so much to life, they know the right time to make you laugh and are all full of surprises. The smiles my puppies bring to their new families are priceless. When young and old alike are smiling from ear to ear like its Christmas morning, I know I've done something wonderful and worth doing.
My Family:
Now a little about my family. I am a stay at home mom of 5 great boys (Jon 18 yrs, Josh 16 yrs, Gage 14 yrs, Cole 12 yrs & Noah 7yrs), standard & miniature poodles (Piper, Austin, Calypso, Cedar, Hootie, Cucumber, Daisy and Kazoo) & a husband (Craig) of 18 yrs. My husband was in the building and construction business and now is a salesman for a great car dealership (Cooks GM in Vassar Mi.) selling cars with some construction on the side. I have always been an animal lover(of all kinds). I had a very special chocolate miniature (Charlie) that I received as a Christmas gift from my dad when I was 11yrs old. Once I was married I found myself taking in strays and rescues. I provided them with needed health care and love first and then placed them in loving homes. Once all my boys were old enough to attend school I decided to follow the dream of showing, breeding and providing families with top quality, genetically healthy poodles. We no longer take in rescues or strays , I don't take the chance of bringing in disease/fleas etc. Enjoy the photos. (photo) hide and seek can be tiring after a hot bath 06.
Everyone but Piper. The princess is still sleeping
Here's Noah, We have 2 ponds on the 10 acres, the small front pond we have put Koi in. This is their second year of life and how fast they seem to reproduce. These fish that Noah are feeding are last years babies. The back pond is more of a sandy bottom and we try to keep critters out of that for swimming.
Our New house adventures:
Spring of 2006 we purchased 10 acres for our dogs and kids to run and
play. I used to live in town near the city park, now I live out
of the city limits on the other side of the city park. I cut paths through the 10 acres and we all love
walking them in the morning, noon or nite.

Here is my garden at my old house, photos are at the end of the first year, then in the beginning of the second year. Its amazing how fast things fill in. Not the prettiest when its not in bloom.

Our last house on Maple st, which was my family home. We had spent 5yrs restoring it to what it looked like originally from photos insided and out, with a few exceptions of additions. I love old homes with all the character and warmth they have. I gave up my old charmer for a beautiful peice of land.
