Our Responsibilities and Guarantee to you
1. Buyer is to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within SEVEN days (at purchasers expense). Should the examining vet find this puppy to have a Serious LIFE THREATENING illness or disease, (excluding parasites or coccidia) Breeder/seller will refund the purchase price or replace with a puppy of equal value, when available ( value of puppy to be determined by breeder/seller ). Puppy must be returned and accompanied by DOCUMENTED PROOF of illness, from licensed veterinarian, within ten ( 10 ) days of purchase. Breeder reserves the right to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of her choice to have diagnosis verified, BEFORE REFUNDING PURCHASE PRICE.
2. The puppy is guaranteed to the original purchaser, for two ( 2 ) years & one (1) month of age against hereditary/genetic disease. If puppy is found to have a serious hereditary/genetic disease process, providing the buyer provides written documentation from a licensed veterinarian, regarding the diagnosis of the genetic defect within fourteen ( 14 ) days of diagnosis, and before any treatment is given (at buyers expense) - Seller holds the right to get a second opinion from their Vet before replacement or refund. The puppy may be returned to the breeder/seller (at buyers expense) for a replacement puppy of equal value OR 50% refund of purchase price of pup, upon return of AKC papers/application and proof of spay or neuter. Guarantee applies to both limited and full registry pups/dogs. Seller is not responsible for any of the vet cost accrued, as we do our utmost to breed a healthy poodle.
3. If for some reason you can not keep the puppy/dog, seller will take the puppy back & will find a proper home but no refund will be given. Should the said puppy be returned due to injuries sustained while in the buyers care, medical cost of treating such injury will be buyers responsibility.
Not included in this guarantee are: health problems from environmental factors, for example but not limited to: Landlord dis-approval, allergies, trauma, neglect, abuse, injuries to patellas or hips caused by other animals, children or falling. Failure to maintain the general health of the dog which includes dogs that are overweight. Change of mind or buyer remorse. We do our utmost to correctly identify the color and size that your puppy will be when fully grown, No guarantee is given to size and or color.
Your Responsibilities to Us & Your Puppy
~Visit your vet as stated above.
~Buyer agrees to provide any necessary veterinary services and grooming to maintain a healthy dog.
~Buyer agrees that this dog is an inside house dog and will not keep him/her outside or in a kennel.
~Buyer agrees to only feed a PREMIUM food: contact me for information
~Buyer agrees to keep said puppy on NuVet Plus Supplements.
____Buyer/buyer's representative agrees to contact & return puppy to seller if un-foreseen circumstances arise and buyer is no longer able to give proper care to the puppy/dog. We want to be 100% sure the puppy/dog is not abandoned, but re-homed with an appropriate family.
Your puppy is up to date on shots & worming when you take him/her home. Do not give any shots until the due date stated on health record and this contract. This is to prevent over-vaccinating your puppy which can cause additional illness and possible death.
SPECIAL NOTE TO VETS: This breed has been known to have major re-actions to Lepto and Lyme disease shots. If Lepto is needed in your area, give separately after 16 weeks of age. We are only stressing this due to the health and welfare of our poodles.
